Give in. In Cedia the company Qnap presented its multimedia storage solution, an aspect that becomes more important now that 4K arrives and requires greater storage capacity.
Hernán López, Storage Solutions Manager at Qnap, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that "Qnap is helping users and integrators solve their multimedia storage problems. Our systems come with HDMI and 4K input, but many of the partners use Qnap as well as media servers, for both audio and video."
He added that one of the advantages of Qnap's systems is that they are based on their own system and all content can be accessed from any mobile device with an internet connection. The system automatically changes the resolution of the video to be able to make it accessible from any device.
On the presence of the company in Latin America, he stressed that they have an important market, both in large and small companies. In audio and video systems they have a large number in homes, while complex solutions remain in broadcast companies.
