ISE. Atlona will introduce Velocity, an all-new av (AV) control platform for Atlona and third-party products in commercial audiovisual environments ranging from meeting rooms to a company or an entire campus.
The Velocity Control System, which will be presented at ISE 2017, allows an agile and rapid implementation and configuration of audiovisual systems, as well as a centralized management of multiple clients and facilities in locations. It also includes an innovative premises-based and cloud-based system architecture, with unprecedented scalability for up to 500 room systems or more, as well as full redundancy capability that avoids AV control downtime in any room.
Velocity is made up of three distinct elements that work together as a single, unified platform: the Velocity Control Suite, the Velocity Control Gateway, and the Velocity Touch Panels.
The Velocity Control Suite is a cloud-based service and a centralized resource for integrators to create and manage their AV control projects by customer, by customer sites, and by specific locations such as rooms. An integrator accesses the Velocity Control Suite via a standard web browser anywhere in the world. The configuration of the audiovisual control system is fast and highly intuitive, thanks to the interactions, flow and familiar visual elements of a web or mobile application. There is no need to build or load devices, and configurations can be easily duplicated across devices, rooms, and sites.
To get started with Velocity, all it takes is a few hours in an online training and certification session. It is not necessary to have previous programming knowledge. An integrator will be ready to design, implement and manage the audiovisual control system throughout the company, in only a fraction of the time usually required with other platforms that require guidance and training over several days, or mastery of a programming language.
It will be available during the second quarter of 2017.
