ISE. ControlSpace® EX is the new audio system for conferences that the Bose company launched within the framework of the ISE fair in Amsterdam. The system includes the new ControlSpace EX1280C conferencing signal processor and three new ControlSpace terminals (EX4-ML, EX8-ML and EX-UH) based on DanteTM.
Designed with the input of industry-leading integrators, the system offers connectivity for various types of conference audio, including USB, VoIP, PSTN, analog and telephone headbands.
The ControlSpace EX-1280C processor includes:
- Advanced Echo Cancellers (AECs): Twelve routable echo cancellers, with adaptive noise cancellation, non-linear processing and comfort noise to improve meeting clarity and intelligibility; AEC references are adapted to multiple rooms and zones.
- Dante Audio Network: 64x64 Dante audio network management for digital audio connectivity with any Dante-based product, including the latest conference microphones.
- All-in-one connectivity: Twelve analog inputs (line/microphone), eight analog outputs, eight Bose® AmpLink digital outputs, USB (stereo input/output), VoIP (2 lines) and PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network).
- Signal processing with open architecture: Provides the flexibility needed for any conferencing application.
- VOIP compatible with SIP 2.0: Includes a web-configurable interface, two independent lines with multiple active calls and support for the most commonly used codecs such as G.722HD, G.726 and G.711.
- Panel with front screen: A large 256x64 OLED screen and rotary knob to control, view and modify IP settings, among other functions.
- The three EX Dante terminals offer power supply via Ethernet (PoE), power supply and daisy-chaining capability, multiple mounting options, and a slim, high-density design ideal for installation hidden under conference tables.
All components are configured and controlled through Bose ControlSpace Designer 5.0 software. ControlSpace Remote 2.1 was also updated to support the EX series and includes a dialer or dialer to create an all-tablet-based user interface for conference room control.
In addition, Bose's portfolio of amplifiers and speakers can be seamlessly integrated by employing its audio connections and pre-programming.
The ControlSpace EX system will be available from autumn 2017.
