Latin America. In the last version of ISE, the company Atlona made an important launch of its new AV control system, called Velocity. AVI LATINOAMÉRICA spoke with Garth Lobban, marketing director of the company, who told details of this launch.
Velocity is a completely new control system, which works for both Atlona and third-party products. It is ideal for audiovisual commercial spaces, including meeting rooms, companies and even entire universities.
Velocity is made up of three distinct elements that work together as a single, unified platform: the Velocity Control Suite, the Velocity Control Gateway, and the Velocity Touch Panels.
The configuration of the audiovisual control system is fast and highly intuitive, thanks to the interactions, flow and familiar visual elements of a web or mobile application. There is no need to build or load devices, and configurations can be easily duplicated across devices, rooms, and sites.
To get started with Velocity, all it takes is a few hours in an online training and certification session. It is not necessary to have previous programming knowledge.
An integrator will be ready to design, implement and manage the audiovisual control system throughout the company, in only a fraction of the time usually required with other platforms that require guidance and training over several days, or mastery of a programming language.
Atlona's new system will be available during the second quarter of 2017.
