Novo Pro and DS, protagonists of Open House Vivitek

Colombia. With the presentation of the novelties of Novo Pro and Novo DS, as well as the latest vivitek laser projectors, the Open House of the company Vivitek and its distributor in Colombia, Videocorp, was held in Medellín.

Jorge Vizcaino, regional director of Vivitek for Latin America, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that the intention was to publicize the novelties that will be marketed this year in the region. Among them are the high-performance laser projectors, one of 6,000 and another of 8,000 lumens, with Edge Blending functions and focused on the segments of rental and fixed installations; in addition to other 5,000 lumens solutions aimed at education.

On another of the novelties presented, Jorge Vizcaino said that "Responding to the market's need to have an economical and easy-to-use media player, we have released the Novo DS for digital signage, providing control options for networks from anywhere. One of the advantages is that we are constantly updating the system software at no cost to users. We are already announcing the new version that will include 4K and HDMI input. It will be available in May."

Also present at the Vivitek Open House was the Novo Pro, a collaboration system for conference rooms or classrooms, which allows wireless presentation and adapts well to any projector or screen.

"Novo Pro changes the way we present, because everyone can participate without having cables in between. It provides great performance to synchronize audio and video, which are becoming increasingly important in presentations. Novo Pro allows you to connect up to 64 devices at once, being a very good option for the classroom and with specific tools for workshops and evaluation, "said Jorge Vizcaino.

He added that both Novo products have had very good acceptance in Latin America. Specifically in Colombia they have installed more than 2,000 Novo Pro in classrooms, while the Conciencias building in Bogotá installed Novo DS in its digital signage system. In Mexico, a network of gyms is also installing the Novo DS.
