Latin America. Two factors that prevent schools from introducing interactive technology into their classrooms are their budgets and the challenge of finding the right image size that is readable for a classroom's capacity as well as the organization of student seating.
To help teachers create "what they need", interactive learning environments, Boxlight has launched two new lines of standard and interactive projectors as well as the second version of its ProColor Series 1 interactive flat panels.
The new P9 and Cambridge projector lines offer the latest in standard imaging technology, short throw and classroom collaboration areas. Schools have the option of having interactive and non-interactive projectors, including the P9 WX36N – the only standard interactive shooting projector available on the market.
"Sometimes schools believe they need an interactive flat panel when a projector solution would be best suited for the way their teachers teach, and of course, for their budget. We help teachers evaluate their options and provide a variety of solutions that best fit their needs now and tomorrow," said Mark Elliott, CEO of Boxlight.
Cambridge Projectors
The four projectors of the Cambridge line are designed to replace the obsolete or faulty projectors of the schools, these provide images with great detail and also bright. The new image adjustment features of these projectors allow them to be easily configured with the current interactive technology of their schools.
- Cambridge X33N projector -standard shot lens, offers 3,300 lumens.
- Cambridge WX33NST projector – short throw lens, WXGA resolution, offers 3,300 lumens.
- Cambridge WX36N Projector – standard shooting lens, WXGA resolution, offers 3,600 lumens.
- Cambridge X37NST projector – short throw lens, offers 3,700 lumens.
P9 Projectors
The two P9 interactive projectors allow up to five students to work together on an interactive lesson with an infrared pen. Both provide schools with their budget, bright images that would be impossible with flat screens of comparable size.
The P9 WX33NST pen-interactive projector with short throw lens, creates interactive areas up to 100 inches. The P9 WX36N is the only standard interactive projection projector available. It allows teachers to easily move the projector from one classroom to another and create lessons as large as 110 inches.
Both interactive projectors come with three MimioMobileTM connections and the easy-to-learn and easy-to-use MimioStudioTM classroom software to create and deliver engaging lessons. The software and app for the class enable collaboration and assessment at the front of the classroom or on almost any student device.
ProColor Interactive Flat Panels
Many schools have a budget, classroom size, and instructional purpose that best suits flat screens. Four new Ultra High Definition (UHD) ProColor flat panels provide 4K clarity to make screen content easier to view from anywhere in the classroom, even in large classrooms. In keeping with Boxlight's mission to provide flexibility for different classroom needs, teachers have a variety of sizes:
- ProColor 652 interactive display (65-inch display)
- ProColor 702 interactive display (70-inch display)
- ProColor 752 interactive display (75-inch display)
- ProColor 862 interactive display (86-inch display)
The screens' 360° Touch interactivity offers up to 20 one-touch or 10 double-touch touch points – users can work simultaneously to drive collaborative learning. Each interactive display includes the software for the MimioStudioTM class and enables full integration with other Boxlight products, including the MimioMobileTM collaboration and evaluation application.
