Chauvet DJ launched two new products

Latin America. During DJ Expo 2017, a fair recently held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Chauvet DJ presented new products, highlighting the Vivid 4, a modular video panel capable of projecting content with great clarity and color, without the need for bulky media servers.

Users will be able to create dazzling video walls with these lightweight panels, equipped with black-body LEDs to reproduce high-contrast images with great accuracy. Vivid 4 is a great background for any DJ, and integrates seamlessly with Serato to showcase music videos that will add impact to any performance.

Setup is easy and fast, with multiple magnets and alignment pins that make installation quick even for a single person, with no tools required. Working with the Vivid 4, the Vivid Drive 23N will also debut, a video controller with numerous video input and output options, compatible with any Novastar panel.

The built-in video scaler allows you to adjust the size of the content quickly and easily. The Vivid Drive 23N has a digital display that makes it easy to set up and control, including transitions, content selection, scaling, aspect radius, PiP and more.

Along with the Vivid 4 system, the Intimidator Beam 355 IRC was launched, a beam-type moving head, powerful and full of useful functions, which is equipped with a 100-watt LED. Complex designs are easily generated using the fixed gobo wheel with animation effects. The 3-faceted rotating prism splits the light beam to cover wider areas.

The motorized diffuser filter (frost) instantly converts the beam into a wash, and the panel with color screen in the equipment is compatible with the IRC-6 remote control, in addition to including the totem mode, and an internal memory to store a lighting scene. Intimidator Beam 355 IRC has powercon® compatible power connectors, for easy chained connection.

"We are really excited about the launch of these products at this year's DJ EXPO. We know of the growing search for larger production items for special events, and we are proud to introduce this set of powerful tools, including the Vivid video panel system, that will help meet those demands," said Allan Reiss, Senior Product Manager at Chauvet DJ.
