Mexico. In this second quarter of 2018, the new certification that Belden launches worldwide comes into effect. Suitable for video over IP integrators who want to differentiate themselves with Belden certification and guarantee the facilities of their customers.
The certification is specific to HDbaseT and requires taking the training in Belden Mexico, at its headquarters in front of the Insurgentes theater in Mexico City. It consists of a theoretical part, where this standard is taught in detail, as well as the recommendations when connecting and installing, based on both the indications of the HDbaseT alliance and the results of the analyzes carried out by Belden.
For example, the type of cable is closely linked to the resolution of the signal: if it is HD, it requires a type of cable; if it is 4K, another category is recommended. The different designs of the link (direct, MPTL, channel) are foreseen in the course. In the practical part of the course, each student will work on the connectorization, since not all terminations are certifiable. Specific tests will also be carried out for HDbaseT with test equipment, to guarantee the user the performance in a documentary way.
Next Wednesday, May 23, one of the courses will take place, which are taught by an instructor certified by the HDbaseT Alliance.
