Bose expanded its offer of digital signal processors

Latin America. Bose's Line of ControlSpace digital signal processors was expanded with six new DSP models and three attractive digital wall controllers.

The new commercial ControlSpace CSP-1248 and CSP-428 sound processors offer fairly sized inputs and outputs, and a simplified configuration for small to medium-scale projects.

They are designed to serve as standalone DSPs in commercial applications such as retail stores and restaurants or any public space where you want to have modest processing, high-quality sound and easy installation. They include balanced analog inputs and outputs, RCA inputs, eight GPIs, a GPO, a mute connection, RS-232 serial port, Ethernet network (for configuration or wall control), and a Bose® AmpLink output for direct digital audio connectivity with compatible power amplifiers.

These ControlSpace CSP models offer a quick setup workflow thanks to the integrated web server and browser-based control software. Similar to installing a wireless router, integrators use your PC (or Mac) and a web browser to access the CSP settings page.

This real-time interface features live measurement and is designed to increase the natural workflow of business projects with common tasks, such as setting sources, setting thresholds, adjusting equalizers, and setting limiters; all displayed intuitively and logically. This approach reduces complexity by presenting common processing needs for repeatable business applications, minimizing design errors and ultimately decreasing installation time, all without extensive DSP training.

The new sound processors, ESP-1240A and ESP-880A, have 12x4 and 8x8 analog I/O, respectively, with an integrated Bose AmpLink output for CAT 5 digital connections with compatible Bose amplifiers. For its part, the new versions of the ESP-1240AD and ESP-880AD have AmpLink and Dante 32x32 integrated.  All four ESP models use ControlSpace Designer™ software for configuration, control, and monitoring, and are compatible with scalable network audio systems.

To complement the new ControlSpace CSP and ESP processors, Bose also created three new easy-to-use digital wall controllers: CC-1D, CC-2D, and CC-3D. Each model is presented in white and is available in regional variants. They have an attractive style and incorporate a rotary encoder and a circular LED ring.
