Latin America. Like the fair, the Biamp stand at InfoComm Show 2018 had a record attendance of people interested in knowing its latest news, among which the new microphone of the Tesira TCM1 line and a network amplifier stand out.
Ernesto Montañez, director for Latin America of Biamp, explained to AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that this new microphone comes to the market to solve the challenge of digital microphones that goes in conjunction with a DSP, in terms of installation and programming labor, because it reduces times considerably.
"This solution is mainly aimed at the segment of remote conference rooms, both for teleconferencing and videoconferencing and soft code. Also for the spaces that are very fashionable today that are combinable or multipurpose, so that they have several divisible rooms. These microphones are going to solve these challenges very well," he said.
As this new Biamp device is composed of two parts, one visible and the other not, it fits very well to the aesthetic part of the spaces in which they are installed. Today it is available in white and will soon be available in black, responding to different trends in corporate spaces.
Ernesto Montañez highlighted five features of the new system:
- Ease of connectivity
- Native integration with Biamp DSP
- Capture quality based on technology developed by Biamp
- Possibility of future expansion
- And finally the quality that characterizes all the company's products.
Other novelties of Biamp presented this year at the Fair in Las Vegas, were the very efficient four-channel network audio amplifier, they also relaunched Tesira Lux, the system that allows to transport video over the network without compression with the novelty that now allows to pass protected content.
