International. GE Lighting's Energy Smart LED spotlight recently received the Energy Star rating, an environmental designation program administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The 9-watt Energy Smart spotlight offers a 360º light distribution and was created to replace the 40-watt incandescent, used in desks, bedside tables, hallway lamps or general lighting applications. It comes with a unique fin-shaped design that allows you to direct light down on and around desired surfaces, and not just down the top of the lamp.
"For consumers, this certification is very important because it indicates that they are acquiring a focus that will have the expected performance, which is the basis of this news. With this announcement we celebrate the quality and reliability of this product," said Anh Marella, global product manager, GE Lighting.
In Latin America the product has been marketed since January of this year.
