Argentina. Six of the eight stadiums in which the Copá América will be played, to be held between July 1 and 24, will have lighting system for high-definition television, Philips Argentina, the supplier company, said in a statement.
The new "Arena Vision" system, as it has been called, was installed in the 23 de Agosto stadiums in Jujuy; Bicentennial, in San Juan; Malvinas Argentinas, in Mendoza; Brigadier Lopez, of Santa Fe; Mario Alberto Kempes, from Córdoba, and Ciudad de La Plata, as happened in some of the sports fields where the World Cups in Germany and South Africa were played.
This technology includes a compact single-terminal metal halide lamp MHN-SE 2000 W and monoblock precision optics, which provide better definition and clarity in lighting, facilitating visibility and sharpness. Additionally, it allows better perception of colors and its light tone is similar to natural sunlight, achieving high levels of illumination while consuming lower amounts of energy.
