Colombia. After a year of its opening, the Attic Center of the Javeriana University is postulated as one of the best academic audiovisual laboratories in Latin America, equipped with the latest technology.
It has spaces available for students to practice everything they have learned in audiovisual matters: from a makeup room in which the light can be graduated as the recording studio will be to ten editing rooms with Smoke & Flame.
For the recording they have three types of cameras X1, X3 and WF800, which are provided to students according to the project and the academic level in which they are.
The editing rooms have a completely pedagogical approach, which is why each one is equipped with two 59-inch screens that allow students to see in real time what is being done.
The recording and audio editing rooms are fully acoustic and through panels allow to change the insulating material between wood and fabric according to the needs of the project.
The main auditorium is equipped with the sound console7,2 Film Mixing, the largest in Latin America, for which they are seeking Dolby accreditation. In addition, it has a 2K projector and in another of its auditoriums with a 4K projector.
The Attic Center seeks to support academic units in the training, research and development of image projects (film, video, television, digital design and electronic art), audio and acoustics (radio and sound), and ICT-assisted education.
