Latin America. Next Wednesday, October 2, InfoComm International will present a new virtual seminar, this time focused on the HdbaseT connectivity standard.
This is a new connectivity standard for the consumer industry (CE), based on Valens chipsets, which allows long-distance transmission of full-HD video without compression, audio, 100BaseT Ethernet, power supply (POE) and different controls, through a 100-meter LAN cable CAT-5e/ CAT-6.
Therefore, the importance of the presentation lies in the fact that its participants will be able to know the functionalities and advantages of a revolutionary technology that now reaches professional AV equipment, embraced by great names in the industry, since it is promoted jointly by Samsung, Sony and LG, among other manufacturers that have joined its promotion.
The seminar will be presented by engineer Nelson Baumgratz, CTS-D, with more than 30 years of experience in the world of AV & IT technology, in addition to being a partner in the company EAV-Engenharia Audiovisual, he is an instructor at InfoComm University since 2008.
This is one more of the activities that infoComm's regional directorate for Latin America, headed by Rodrigo Casassus, has as part of its activities aimed at AV professionals for 2013.
The free webinar will be taught in Spanish starting at 1:00 p.m., Santiago, Chile time. For more information visit infoComm's new website in Spanish http://espanol.infocomm.org
