Latin America. Razer announced Seirēn, a plug-and-play digital microphone designed for recording studio-level quality sounds.
The Razer Seirēn features a versatile digital multi-pattern USB connection capable of delivering four different recording pattern configurations with three custom 14mm condenser pods. This makes the Razer Seirēn digital microphone aimed at professional musicians, streamers and YouTube users who demand superior clarity.
The Razer Seirēn also allows content creators to quickly switch between four different polar recording patterns (Cardioid, Stereo, Bidirectional and Omnidirectional) by simply turning the knob of the controller. This offers greater versatility depending on the recording applications.
The microphone incorporates a headphone amplifier with zero latency, plus accurate real-time tracking of recordings to ensure users sound exactly as they intend.
"Platforms like YouTube and Twitch are an important part of how people experiment with their media shaping the way we interact with others. Tuned for a professional-style setup and capable of being mounted and transported quickly and easily, the Razer Seirēn is a microphone designed specifically for online streamers and YouTube users," said Min-Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Razer.
Razer is also starting a program called the "Razer Sponsored Streamer Program" to help content creators and newly initiated streamers take their recordings to a professional level. Content creators are divided into three levels of expertise and are entitled to different levels of sponsorships ranging from a sponsored Razer Seirēn to a full Razer peripheral suite. Beyond its music partners, Razer works with some of the top professional YouTube game users and streamers. Many of them were the inspiration to create the Razer Seirēn.
