Latin America. FBT presented the new references of Mitus 118FSA and FSCA, subwoofers in cardioid configuration suitable for being flown over structures in array systems. Designed and manufactured by renowned engineers and craftsmen, Mitus 118FSA/FSCA is an example of audio perfection and ergonomic innovation.
It is an 18" hybrid neodymium subwoofer, designed to be suspended under the MT-F 212 flying stand, either facing forward (FSA model) or backward (FSCA models). The FSCA model is the version designed for rear suspension, and therefore, the housing has been equipped with a protective grille on the "new front" and the amplifier module with its controls, on the "new rear".
In this way, when we want to create a cardioid arrangement, no additional hardware is necessary, to achieve this purpose and maintain a continuity and visual elegance, since from the front of the array the grids are seen, while the amplification modules are accessible from the rear. In today's industry, where aesthetic values are becoming increasingly important, this represents a real advantage for any installer.
MITUS 118FSA/FSCA: Cardioid active subwoofer with processing to fly in array systems
