Mexico. Wavetec led the project to install the 40-meter-long TICKER LED on the façade of the Mexican Stock Exchange building and was also in charge of the largest indoor LED screen in Latin America on the auction floor of the BMV. This plan was sponsored by Thomson Reuters, who gave their support to renew the screens of the institution.
In a first phase of the BMV project, a screen of 8 square meters was installed on the balcony of authorities and a full color indoor LED screen, 360º curve, with a resolution that exceeds three million pixels, thus reaching 54 meters of the perimeter that surrounds the Auction Floor of the institution, becoming the largest indoor LED screen in Latin America and representing an important commitment to the investment of technologies aimed at improving the dissemination of information in financial institutions in the region.
In a second phase, a 40-meter-long curved LED Ticker was installed that covers the façade of the emblematic Mexican Stock Exchange building. The technology used is first class worldwide, ensuring excellent luminosity and durability over the years, as demanded by the screens installed in outdoor spaces, exposed to the weather and the climatic factors that this implies.
Wavetec Stock and News Tickers, a solution that BMV chose for its façade, allows companies to display real-time market data, their own information, news headlines and other messages with the ease of a click. In today's world, financial screens are a key element for the financial sector to keep up to date on the market situation.
Ticker LED's solution is backed by Donatello Suite, an application that enables sophisticated integrations with the stock market data source to project real-time information such as exchange rates, stock stocks and the company logo. News and videos can also be played.
