Latin America. The company Scala introduced a powerful high-definition playback solution capable of supporting 24/7 screens reliably and stably, the player for Chromebox.
To power these solutions, the new player works on Google Chrome devices, such as Chromebox, and is ideal for driving one-on-one digital engagements across all powerful industries such as retail, quick-service restaurants, finance, and more.
This device is backed by two companies known for their innovative technology as well as world-class customer support, including extensive testing, documentation and safety standards. As part of this effort, Scala has joined the Google for Work Partner Program.
"We are excited to introduce a robust player that is backed by a technology leader like Google. Beyond the delivery of powerful playback, the new device is fully reliable and secure with 24/7 stability, critical aspects of a project with digital solutions," said Tom Nix, CEO of Scala.
Scala's content management system platform enables control of the entire network while remaining easy to use, as well as fully scalable and extensible with a broad set of open APIs. The Chromebox player, which is used in conjunction with Chrome device management, offers rich dynamic HTML5 content, advanced programming, and screen splitting with independent playback in each zone and stands out from other devices when playing simultaneously with multiple videos.
The screen-on app runs in Google's autonomous environment, which assures users that their information on these devices is secure, encrypted, and cannot be visited by other apps or users. The appliance connects directly to the Scala Content Manager, communicates via HTTP/HTTPS, and provides health status statistics and diagnostics.
