Audio-Technica launches the new cardioid condenser microphone for instruments with Unimount components. With a clean, clear and well-balanced response even in applications with high sound pressure levels, the ATM350a cardioid instrument condenser microphone comes in six specially designed systems that offer discreet and robust mounting solutions.
Following in the footsteps of the popular ATM350, the ATM350a is capable of handling 159 dB max SPL, an increase of 10 dB compared to its predecessor. It features a cardioid polar pattern that reduces lateral and rear collection and protects it against returns. The microphone power module incorporates an 80 Hz switchable filter to help control unwanted ambient noise.
The six ATM350a microphone systems combine the instrument microphone with unique UniMount components, offering sound engineers and musicians a wealth of reliable mounting options both on stage and in the studio.
Options include a sturdy drum stand, an all-new magnetic piano stand, a revamped universal clamping clamp, a woodwind instrument holder, and two sturdy flexos (5 and 9 inches) that can be attached to any of the brackets.
