GLM 3, available for free download to all GLM users on its website, provides new reference level features developed in response to international standards in the broadcast environment, which require calibrating listening levels to allow programs to be interchangeable across different listening conditions.
Since its introduction, GLM software has helped audio professionals automatically calibrate, under Mac and PC platforms, their Genelec SAM monitor systems optimally for their acoustic environment.
GLM 3 allows each registered user to use both the on-premises option and the beta cloud service, with the ability to switch between the two. The cloud service offers space to store three complete system calibrations, each with ten groups, for a total of thirty acoustic settings, while online help makes it easy for them to send their GLM files to expert support and advice.
