The AT5047 cardioid condenser is a high-end studio microphone from Audio-Technica designed for both voices and instruments. Thanks to an exceptionally wide dynamic range, the AT5047 is able to capture all the expressive character of a sound source, regardless of how tall or smooth it is.
The microphone combines the four-part rectangular element originally developed for the AT5040 (the largest element ever designed by Audio-Technica) with a transformer-coupled output that allows it to maintain a constant load output impedance, regardless of the level of the output signal, resulting in a stable relationship between the microphone and a micro preamplifier or console input.
The AT5047 also incorporates an advanced internal anti-vibration support design and comes with the innovative AT8480 anti-vibration mount.
