The Omnivore KM-2B is a single microphone solution for corporate applications, in meeting and conference spaces, that can be installed and configured by staff with minimal audio experience.
The device is a multipurpose dual-limit microphone that eliminates Comb filtering and maximizes acoustic energy, offering high clarity and flexibility.
It has three selectable polar patterns, which allows versatility for any type of installation:
- Omnidirectional: for small/medium meeting spaces
- Subcardioid: Under the screen in a meeting space
- Cardioid: on the podium
A selectable high-pass filter (HPF) at 120Hz helps prevent hollow noise and table noise. The two microphones on the KM-2B can be added together on a single channel or broadcast two separate signals for redundancy in critical installations or recordings of a conversation between two people, each with its own microphone.
In addition, an additional 12dB magnification mode of microphone sensitivity allows for an important gain stage: if the microphone is away from the speaker, or in case the volume is too high, the magnification can be canceled to avoid trimming the microphone.
