The 2 RU 40D amplifier provides the power density needed for permanent installations, while the powerful signal processing extends the level of functionality of the features it integrates.
This appliance contains extended input management functions with independent control for each channel (Input Gain); general purpose connectors (GPIO) and general error connectors. Extended system health monitoring functions, such as load and input monitoring, ensure suitability in emergency situations.
The amplifier's user interface includes a 4.3" color touchscreen that provides comprehensive information on device configuration and detailed status monitoring.
The DSP built into the 40D incorporates full speaker management, switchable filtering functions as well as user-definable equalization and delay functions. It offers two independent 16-band equalizer groups on each channel, provides parametric, notch, shelving and asymmetric filters, as well as a graphical EQ (using d&b's R1 Remote Control software). The delay function covers an interval of up to 10 s. All speaker-specific functions are available, such as CUT, HFA, HFC, THC or CPL. The amplifier's DSP unit has a fixed latency of 0.3 ms.
