Sony presents the new series of Short Throw projectors (models VPL-SX125 and VPL-SW125), ideal for classrooms and meeting rooms for their functions for short projection distances, in order to offer the best 3LCD technology.
The VPL-SW125 offers a brightness of 2,600 lumens and widescreen projection capability with WXGA resolution. For its part, the VPL-SX125 (photo) offers a brightness of 2,500 lumens and image quality in XGA resolution.
Both models can project images on the big screen at a very short distance, thanks to a short focal length lens, which overcomes typical problems such as dazzling the presenter or darkening the projected image with shadows.
The VPL-SX125 and VPL-SW125 offer a short projection factor of 0.62:1, not only to reduce glare, but also to allow the installation of equipment in classrooms and small meeting rooms, where traditional projectors cannot work.
