Projection screen with curvature
Elite Screens presents the new lunette series of fixed projection screens, designed with a curvature that improves the performance and aesthetic appearance of the presentation and that produces in the spectators the feeling of being immersed in the film.
The design made it possible to eliminate the effect known as "pincushion", commonly experienced when projected in 2.35:1 widescreen formats. The 3.5" frame is coated with a black velvet surface to prevent light reflection.
Lunette series measurements start at 85" at 166" diagonal in 2.35:1 (Widescreen) format and 84" at 150" in 16:9 format (HDTV). Options in the material include the matt white tensioned CineWhite with 1.1 gain, which has the back in black to eliminate light penetration, and the acoustically transparent material, AcousticPro1080, which comes in matt white and the black back material.
