Yamaha
Yamaha's new CL series of digital mixers is comprised of three models: CL1, CL2 and CL5, ranging from 48 to 72 mono inputs plus eight stereo. All have 16 DCAs, 24 output buses and eight matrix buses.
They incorporate both the Centralogic user interface and the Selected Channel. In addition to the User Defined Knobs, which allow you to assign variable parameters to the four control potentiometers for direct access to functions.
The EQ and CL series effects have expanded, including an Effect Rack with VCM analog modeling circuitry, a Premium Rack with Rupert Neve Desigs Portico 5033 equalizer and the Portico 5043 compressor/limiter.
Similarly, two new input and output units for rack mounting have been incorporated: Rio 3224-D and Rio 1608- D, which can be used in various combinations and configurations, communicating through an Audinate Dante escable digital audio network.
Up to eight eight eight-in and-out racks can be connected to the same CL, just as multiple CL tables can share control of the same rack. A new gain compensation feature provides the ability to combine monitor control and FOH in the same network.
