The UH-1BTX extender extends any HDMI video signal or single DVI link up to 330 feet (100 meters) above Cat5 or Cat6 cables, using HDBaseT technology. This is currently the longest achievable distance for digital video via twisted pair.
The UH-1BTX manufactured by Hall Research consists of a compact but sturdy kit of metal boxes transmitters and receivers. Video and embedded audio signals are transmitted without any compression for identical playback at a distance, supports Full-HD, deep color, 3D and 4K video.
All secondary data channels such as HDCP, DDC and HDP (Hot-Plug Detection) are transparently connected between the source and the trigger for trouble-free operation.
