Sennheiser
Sennheiser launches its new Dante network card for the EM 9046 receiver of the 9000 digital system. This expansion card ensures good quality of wireless transmission over IP networks.
Dante works with an existing network infrastructure using IP and Ethernet standards, offering hundreds of channels of audio quality.
With the extension card, audio and broadcast engineers can now easily integrate the wireless microphone system into the Dante network for excellent sound.
It is easy to insert into the SLOT of the EM 9046 receiver, internally, the card has sixteen audio inputs to send digital audio and command the signals above the Dante network. The connection is via two Gbit RI45 sockets that serve to establish two redundant network circuits or the signal communications bus.
The card works with sample rates of 44.1/48/88.2 and 96 kHz with a resolution of 24 bits.
