Extron Electronics announces SMP 351 (Streaming Media Processor) with the FlexOS operating system, a streaming media processor that captures and distributes live AV sources and presentations.
With five inputs available, the SMP 351 creates high-impact content by combining two high-resolution signals, a background image and metadata, with dynamic layouts that enhance the message of a presentation.
It supports both live streaming and recording capabilities, delivering presentations to any network. With the embedded FleXos operating system, it easily adapts to new requirements. FleXos applications to the SMP can be configured in the interface with port control and automatic system operation.
In addition, it can simultaneously stream in two different resolutions and bit rates using a range of transport protocols and session management options.
Among other features, the SMP 351 creates MP4 media files that are directly compatible with virtually any popular software media player and content management system.
