Luxul
Luxul introduces firmware security updates for its lines of wireless routers and access points against Krack vulnerabilities in Wi-Fi networks. This patch can be downloaded from the Firmware Updates section on the Luxul website.
A krack is a vulnerability of the WPA2 system, which secures the connection between a router and a computer, allowing a computer attacker to spy on unencrypted traffic or introduce malware into legitimate websites, in case of WPA2 failures. However, the attacker must be on the same network to achieve this.
Luxul recommends that integrators download updates as soon as possible for the safety of their customers. The devices for which the update is available are:
Wireless routers:
XWR-3100 |
Wireless access points: XAP-1510 XAP-1500 |
