NX DMX is a 2-port USB-powered DMX node. As a member of Obsidian Control Systems' innovative ONYX platform, the NX DMX provides instant access to DMX inputs and outputs, as well as RDM communication. The device is plug and play and requires no drivers or additional configuration to integrate with ONYX. It's designed to work with any PC, but it also works with any ONYX console as a quick and inexpensive way to add two additional DMX ports.

NX DMX supports ONYX on PC systems for up to four Universes without any dedicated license. When connected to an ONYX licensed PC or an ONYX console, the NX DMX can be assigned to any of the 255 universes.

It also allows the full ONYX system to be used in many situations, from small events and trade shows to clubs and churches. Many technicians use ONYX through NX DMX as an affordable yet powerful test station thanks to excellent support for the ONYX library.
