Colombia. First hand, a group of attendees at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm was able to learn about the audiovisual renovation works that were carried out at the Atanasio Girardot stadium in Medellín, on the occasion of the U-20 Football World Cup that took place in Colombia in the middle of this year.
The new audio system allows sound to be sectorized, directing it to the different spaces of the sports scenario to which it wants to impact. It is equipped with Electro Voice and Bosch equipment and manages to distribute the sound without affecting spaces such as dressing rooms when players are concentrated, press rooms or radio and television broadcasts.
The attendees of the technical visit toured each of the corners in which the sound system was installed, such as the grandstands, the dressing rooms, the court and the displacement spaces, among others.
The person in charge of the operation of the audiovisual equipment in the sports facility, Ordonel Ismman, was the guide of the attendees to TecnoMultimedia InfoComm around the new sound system.
At the end of the tour, attendees recognized the international conditions of this system. Among them Fernando Echeverría, from Audio Video Store, who came from Barranquilla, Colombia, to attend the Congress.
He stressed that the sound of the Atanasio Girardot was much better than that of his city, in which some of the matches of the World Cup were also played. "This visit allowed us to know the new equipment that the industry is using and the different forms of installation," he said.
The visit began at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Medellín, Congress of which its Academic Programming and Commercial Exhibition begin today at the Plaza Mayor convention center.
