Audiovisual market in Latin America will grow 15% annually until 2015

altMexico. TecnoMultimedia InfoComm México is progressing at the pace of the industry and for this 2012 will have an increase of more than 60%, in the commercial exhibition. More than 37 companies and 70 brands will be part of the exhibition that will take place from august eight to ten at the WTC in Mexico City.

But the growth of the event for 2012 is not a factor alien to the behavior of the sector. According to the study of Strategy and Definition of the Global Audiovisual Market, recently published by InfoComm International, this segment in Latin America is expected to reach US$ 5,950 million until 2015, at an annual average of 15%, and remain, as has happened in the last three years, as the second strongest after Asia.

Mexico, on the other hand, is one of the countries with the greatest potential in Latin America. According to InfoComm's analysis, it is expected that for this year the AV industry in this country will exceed US$862 million and remain in the second position, with 22%, after Brazil.

Against this backdrop, companies must prepare to face the implications of this process. According to Sebastián Fernández, VP of sales and operations of Latin Press, one of the organizing companies, "technology in the audio, video and lighting industry does not rest and the sectors involved must face the competition generated by a growing market."

"We see that in the region there is a strong development and TecnoMultimedia InfoComm has been strengthened to advance at the pace that the industry requires. The Conference Program designed for this second edition in Mexico, the participation of the most important brands in the sector, as well as the growth that we have presented in the Commercial Exhibition, ratify it, "added Fernández.

TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico will be held at the World Trade Center in Mexico City from August 8 to 10. If you want more information go to www.tecnomultimedia.com
