Colombia. The past seven and eight of November saw another version of the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia fair, an event that, between conferences, technical talks, and a commercial exhibition that served as a stage for doing business and contacts, continues to support the growth of the industry in the region.
The growth in 30% of the space of the commercial exhibition was evidenced not only in the number of exhibiting companies, but also in the visitors who were looking for all kinds of professional solutions offered by the audiovisual industry.
And it was really pleasant to hear testimonies from the exhibitors in which they assured that the participation in the fair in Colombia had facilitated their expansion plans in Latin America, in addition to making contacts with people from other countries in the region.
An example of this case is that of the company Monoprice. Daniel Murillo, representative for Latin America, said that last year the company decided to enter the Latin market and hand in hand with the fairs of Mexico and Colombia has grown by a wide margin, more than expected. He even assured that during the first day of the fair he had made contacts with people from Panama, Uruguay and Peru, and that he had even agreed to businesses that waged participation. And like this there are several anecdotes.
On the other hand, the lectures given by the instructors of InfoComm International, the technical talks of the exhibitors and the VIP Panel, provided different training options, both paid and free, which allowed to update the attendees to the fair.
One of the most important announcements at the end of the two-day day is that the fifth version of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia will be held on November 6 and seven, 2014 at the Corferias convention center in Bogotá, thus welcoming the comments of the exhibitors in this regard.
