Mexico. The company Chauvet, which for two years has been present in the Mexican market with its lighting solutions for different sectors, will be present at the next version of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico, a fair that will be held from August 17 to 19, 2016 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.
Abraham Levit, representative of the company for Mexico, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA about the link to TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Mexico that "we believe that the professional market is already ready to receive the brand, we want to show all the products we have to offer. Much of our market is at this Expo."
There are four lines of business of the company and that are available for the Mexican market: Professional, which serves the market of concerts, live events and rental; Trusst, aluminum structures; Iluminarc, the architectural line; and DJ, the commercial line. Three of them have their websites in Spanish.
Abraham Levit commented that "in Mexico there was a need for a direct presence, before we were as distributors, but now with the direct office customers feel more supported. In addition, we have products in stock that allow us to quickly provide services to customers."
The biggest challenge now is to launch Chauvet Professional, they are already positioned with the DJ line, now they have the challenge of doing the same with the Professional line.
He added that this year the exchange rate has had an effect on the business, since the Mexican currency has devalued by 30%. "Despite that, the market continues to grow and the company has not stopped selling."g.
