Christie shows mapping in TecnoMultimedia InfoComm

Colombia. A projection mapping will be the point of attraction of Christie's stand at the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia 2015 fair to be held at the Corferias Exhibition Center in Bogotá from November 10 to 12. Christie will be present at stand 211 together with its partner Big Video, a Colombian company with more than 20 years of experience offering audiovisual services for events.

Christie's mapping will be projected on a single flat screen with a pyramid in the center that will come out in a three-dimensional way towards the public. The projection will be in charge of a Christie D4K2560, a projector of 3DLP technology, 4K resolution and 25,000 lumens center of brightness. Thanks to the multi-award-winning Christie TruLife electronics, this projector offers high frame rate (HFR) at 60 frames per second (fps) with maximum sharpness image detail and smoother motion and transition video.

"Visitors to our TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia booth will be able to appreciate the power of projection mapping and how this technique can add value to events and facilities across the board," said Jorge Garcia, Christie's Sales Manager in Latin America. "Christie has been manufacturing the most popular and quality 3DLP mapping projectors on the market that are used in projects around the world by experts capable of fine-tuning events to the maximum thanks to the wide spectrum of resolutions and brightness levels available in our brand's catalog," he adds.

Christie's stand will also feature a Christie HD10K-M projector with 3DLP technology with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 11,000 lumens center of brightness. After seven years of success, the Christie M Series has just been upgraded with new capabilities for vertical operation and a 500-hour increase in lamp life of 450W. Christie's M-Series models are adaptable to 3D and continue to be the most suitable – in installations of one or more projectors – for flat or curved screens, in applications for rental shows and large auditoriums, boardrooms and conferences, places of worship and post-production work.

Christie will also showcase the Christie LW720, a compact and affordable 3LCD projector that offers 7200 ANSI lumens and a 2500:1 contrast ratio serving higher brightness and deeper, richer blacks. With its unique lamp, the LW720 has one of the largest lens displacement ranges, offering the customer the possibility of placing the projector in locations as different as museums, places of worship, large auditoriums or in rental/entertainment applications.

Visitors to the Christie booth will also be able to admire the Christie Q Series, powerful 1DLP projectors sophisticatedly designed to deliver unparalleled performance with brightness options ranging from 7,200 to 10,000 lumens, and with XGA, WXGA, HD and WUXGA resolutions. On display at the booth will be the Christie DWU951-Q.
