The Ormazabal Group and the Ikusi Group have reached a union agreement, after several months of joint work and negotiation. The new corporation, whose presidency and vice presidency will be assumed by Javier Ormazabal and Ángel Iglesias respectively, will be located in Zamudio, although both companies maintain their current headquarters.
This process will bring numerous benefits to both companies, since it involves uniting their interests, combining synergies and capabilities to create a larger corporation to innovate, develop their skills, boost their international presence and strengthen their future. The commercial and administrative process will culminate over the next few weeks, subject to the approval of the National Competition Committee.
It should be noted that these are two family businesses, of similar cultures, with a relationship of trust and that complement each other in the activities they develop. In addition, both groups will strengthen and improve their positions in the domestic and international market, allowing their customers to benefit from a superior value offering.
The experience of the Ormazabal Group in the manufacture of equipment and supply of solutions for electrical distribution networks will be reinforced by the competences of the Ikusi Group in electronics, communications, software and remote control.
Likewise, the ability of the Ikusi Group to offer solutions and services for infrastructures will be reinforced by the capabilities and portfolio of products, services and customers of the Ormazabal Group.
