Portable solar plug, a worthwhile gadget

New gadgets sometimes surprise us with their scant application or relevance, but this particular one can represent the beginning of a new era in clean electric power generation and that's always welcome. Meet the new portable solar plug, a gadget worth having.

With the same size as a conventional electrical outlet, this device can by itself produce electrical energy without the need for wiring or connections.

Kyuho Song & Boa Oh created this portable solar plug for charging electronic devices anywhere. Ideal to take on a trip, for a walk, camping or to work, the plug adheres to the crystals by means of a suction cup on its back face, where the small solar cells are housed.

These cells receive the sun's rays, which are converted into electricity by the device. Such electricity allows charging electronic devices, and even using devices that do not require much electricity for their operation.

Once the device is charged, it disconnects and the plug can continue to store energy for five or six hours, to generate about ten hours of use. This is great, because it allows us to keep it in our bag to take it with us wherever we go and have a few hours of energy without having to look for an outlet.

Although we can not get electricity instantly, this gadget is a great invention, because you can take it with you and install it in any window that the sun gives it and obtain electrical energy independently, regardless of the type of installation that is in the place you are.

Really a gadget worth having. Clean and hassle-free electric power. And as if that were not enough, free, since you do not have to pay the electricity company.
