With the congress and expo that will be held from November 9 to 12 in Bogotá, Colombia, the third audiovisual event of the year in Latin America is celebrated and consolidates TecnoMultimedia InfoComm as the meeting place for AV professionals in the region.
Since 2010, when Latin Press Inc., held the first version in Medellin, Colombia, the fair has been growing significantly, reaching three countries, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, in the number of exhibitors, the quality of them and the size of the stands.
The same is the case with visitors to the fair, the growth has been progressive year after year, allowing exhibitors to make new contacts and open new markets. In the particular case of Mexico, it has gone from 1,712 visitors in its first version in 2011 to 4,567 in 2015. For its part, Colombia went from 398 visitors in 2010 to 3,548 in 2014, a figure that will surely be surpassed in its 2015 version.
In addition, the number of international visitors attending the fairs is increasing. Mexico welcomes professionals from Central America; Colombia to the Andean Region and Brazil to those in the south of the continent.
And all this could not be achieved without allies such as InfoComm International, which with the help of its experts has been a fundamental part of the fair. In 2015, the support of CEDIA and BICSI was also added.
Undoubtedly, this is a clear reflection of the growth and professionalization of the audiovisual industry in Latin America, in which there are more and more projects that stand out in the international arena and professionals with an interest in training and constant updating.
From AVI Latin America we will continue to join all efforts so that the audiovisual industry of the region is strengthened, providing technical knowledge about new technologies and trends and disseminating what is done from the region.
