New players in the AV industry

The increasing demand for audiovisual solutions in all types of spaces, corporate, commercial, educational, health, among many others, has generated an interesting phenomenon in Latin America: that new players, companies from other sectors begin to make audiovisual installations. Or at least try.

Recently I had the opportunity to know some particular cases, both from Mexico and Central America, in which construction companies are trying to make audiovisual integration in the projects, in an attempt to provide complete solutions to their clients.

But those attempts have not been entirely successful. Due to the lack of technical knowledge and experience of professionals from other sectors who try to perform the integrations, they have ended up failing or with deficiencies in their operation that end up requiring the help of AV professionals.

Given these first results, these companies have not resigned themselves and have begun to seek training for their engineers and technicians in audiovisual solutions, something that will undoubtedly have an impact on the AV industry in the coming years.

That is why we reiterate, and we do not tire of doing so, about the need to have trained and certified professionals in the different solutions of the industry, since we consider that this is the only way in which the growth of the industry in the region is on solid foundations, with competence for quality and innovation, and with satisfied customers and users.
