10 years with the AV industry

Highlighting digital signage as the new communication space, he opened the first edition of AVI LATINOAMÉRICA, the only magazine specialized in the audio, video and professional lighting industry in Latin America, which in 2017 celebrates 10 years.

The rapid advancement of technology has meant that in a decade the development of the AV industry, added to the research and creativity of manufacturers, integrators and professionals that compose it, does not stop surprising. But in Latin America the industry has not had an easy task, in its history it has managed to counteract the challenges of technological and economic dynamics to become an attractive and outstanding region in the international arena.

More and more AV installations are recognized in global awards, as well as a significant number of rental companies, integrators, and distributors with a presence in several countries, in what is known as multilatinas. We have also seen the significant growth in the infocomm International region, which has marked the development of a skilled industry, and the presence of other associations such as Cedia and the Global Presence Alliance.

AVI LATINOAMÉRICA has been there to inform and train on the news of the industry, through the printed magazine that circulates every two months, our web portal, the weekly InfoBoletines and the TecnoMultimedia InfoComm fairs, which are held in Brazil, Mexico and Colombia, in partnership with InfoComm International.

In addition, from our daily work we seek to recognize the work of the industry in the region, that is why we present the Top 100 integrating companies with the greatest recognition in Latam, as well as the Top 50 of the rental companies. To this is added the AV Latino Contest, through which we highlight the best AV integration carried out in Latin America every year.

Without a doubt, it has been an exciting 10 years and we are sure that the times to come will be much better. And AVI LATINOAMÉRICA will continue to be there, bringing all of you, our dear readers, the best information.
