In the audiovisual industry, new products and systems are known every day that allow new installations to be made. But to achieve that innovation that is so much sought after by customers and AV professionals, it is essential to have constant training and updating. It is something that we cannot tire of repeating.
I know the efforts of several associations and companies that throughout the year try to generate educational spaces for their members, customers and the industry in general, as is the case of Cedia, InfoComm, Kolo Academy, Shure, to name a few. But it is never enough, because education in our sector must be a priority.
We at AVI LATINOAMÉRICA generate content that seeks to be beneficial for readers, that help them in their daily tasks and that solve their technical concerns so that they can then offer a better service. It is a small contribution, added to the publication in our different information channels of the different initiatives of this type that are offered in the region.
But there are several issues that concern us and that we question: Is there enough interest of technicians in training? How prepared are you to face the new challenges that the latest technologies bring?
We asked the above because we have witnessed that on many occasions the amount of public expected to attend some training spaces has not been enough, or there are very few questions that are generated from a talk. What can it be? Disinterest, ignorance?
We applaud those who take advantage of every space they can for updating and training, it is something that is noticeable in the growing trend of the regional industry that stands out in the international arena. Remember that this industry depends on what each and every one of us does.
