Tribute to athletes supported in AV

The Santafesino Sports Museum is located in the city of Rosario, Argentina. On that site a modern building was built contained within a metal structure 39 meters high. The building has a novel architectural and aesthetic design.

Digital Projections

The Santafesino Sports Museum project is dedicated to honoring the men and women of the province of Santa Fe who made Argentine sport great and universal, and the countless institutions that promote sport in every town in the province.

Proyecciones Digitales made the audiovisual installation of the entire Museum. The objective was to achieve a playful, interactive, entertaining, appreciated and enjoyed interpretation center by visitors of all ages, whatever their socio-cultural condition. With state-of-the-art facilities and attractive technological resources, the Sports Museum is aligned with the latest trends adopted by the most current and advanced museums and thematic exhibition halls in the world.

Solutions and systems implemented
136 LG monitors distributed throughout the museum synchronized and controlled from BrightSign players. Among other things, 4 Video Walls were installed with thin frame monitors that play 4K content.

40 Epson laser projectors from 4,000 to 12,000 ANSI lumens generating multiple surfaces with mappings and blending.

The museum has a central control cabin, where 5 racks of 45U were installed housing the main audiovisual equipment of the museum. From here video and audio are sent to the entire museum. Thanks to the KramerTP-590TXR transmitters we send video and control to all the projectors and LED screens of the museum. In addition, in this control room, more than 225KW of audio power and the entire network system that includes VLAN control, Dante P, Dante S and Art-Net were installed.

Sound system distributed by Dante with redundancy, with an array of 72x72 channels using XilicaNeutrino processors and as an audio source Dante video servers with AudinatePCIeRy plates People Find system with TOA VM-3360 audio processors and scheduled message recorder.

A total of 4 LED screens were installed, 2 of them curved Pitch 2.5 mm, totaling 46 m2. An LED screen composed of 5 strips of 50 cm and 21 meters high, adding 52.5 m2 and finally an LED Sphere of 3.6 meters in diameter.

The museum's lighting system is synchronized with the audiovisual contents through Watchout in 10 Art-Net Universes (DMX on LAN). In each sector of the museum an Art-Net POE interface was installed to DMX Sandbox brand, thanks to these devices it was possible to avoid large wiring lines of analog signals.

Control system
The museum's central control system is commanded by a server with Dataton WatchNET. From here commands are sent to initialize the 14 Dataton Watchout Display servers, more than 100 BrightSign Players, the power on of all projectors and PCs with interactive systems of the museum and also the control system is capable of activating electrical circuits of LED screens, LCD and lighting of the museum. Another option offered by the control system is to manipulate all the playback timelines of the servers and the audio level of all the BrightSign players so that the operators and guides of the museum have full control of what happens in the museum from a Tablet.

Some of the most important rooms of the museum are:
Mapping on auto scale 1:1
Watchout's ability to manipulate 3D objects natively was instrumental in the entire mapping process of this installation. The Auto is mapped with three EPSON L1505 projectors of 12,000 ANSI using the 4K Enhacement mode to achieve more defined lines and the background that completes the immersive experience is generated with 2 other projectors of the same characteristics.

Cine 360 in the Motorsport sector
This room was solved with 4 Epson L1100U projectors, and the warpy blending adjustments were made from the video servers. In addition, this room has a 4.2 audio system with EVID 6.2 speakers and Apart Audio SUB2201 Subwoofers. The video resolution of this room is 7500x1000 px.

Immersive mapping in the Swimming sector
This space dedicated to commemorate the swimmer Pedro Candioti has a curved projection screen 14 meters wide and an endless wall / floor that complete the immersive experience. For this installation, 6 Epson L1100U projectors with short lenses were used, achieving a resolution of 5200x2100px.

Auditorium
The auditorium has an Epson L1100U projector and 5.1 audio system. Given the need to use the auditorium as another room of the museum and also as a traditional auditorium for events, a KramerVS-622DT matrix was installed that allows the type of use to be selected from the control application. The Museum mode shows on the screen a Full HD video and 5.1 audio that is played from the servers located in the central control cabin and the Auditorium mode takes video from a local PC or from the Podium and automatically mixes a microphone system that is also injected into the Dante network.

Holography
Two life-size holography, one dedicated to the great coaches of Santa Fe football, and another dedicated to leading figures in hockey. Each holography features 24,000 ANSI lumens, generated by two Epson L1505 tandem projectors with short lens, a Gerriets 4.5 x 4 meter holographic film, and stereo audio system. Video, audio, and lighting are synchronized and controlled from Watchout servers located in the centralized control booth.
