According to the information released by the company, video advertising will last a maximum of 15 seconds. These commercials will be activated immediately when the user reaches them without sound. To listen to it, users will need to turn on the option.
One of the main attractions of this new form of advertising on the social network is that customers will be able to choose the type of audience they want to reach, discriminated against by sex, age, region and even preferences.
Given these characteristics, video advertising through Facebook will not be cheap for advertisers. It is estimated that each video can cost close to a million dollars to be rotating for 24 hours, although there is no official information about it.
And despite the fact that the publication of the videos is inspired by the same Instagram system and that from the technical point of view there are no major drawbacks, the decision to launch this service has been postponed twice. That is why it is expected that at the end of the year it will finally be put into service.
