International. CES is the fair where manufacturers present their main consumer electronic equipment, it showed that one of the main novelties that 2014 will have in terms of screens, are the curves.
And it is that different proposals in televisions and smartphones could be observed at the fair based on this new technology. Undoubtedly, one of the most striking was Samsung, a company that presented a curved 105-inch TV.
This TV not only stood out for its size and shape, but also the quality of its image was a striking factor, since it is under 4K technology. But Samsung wasn't alone in developing curved TVs, LG also introduced 4K curved OLED devices and Panasonic, which showcased a 55-inch TV also curved.
Another feature of this type of television is that they are convertible, that is, their screens go from flat to curved at the push of a button.
The latter company also introduced the G Flex Smartphone with curved screen. This is a flexible device that its creators say best adapts to the physiognomy of the human face.
Curved screens have been talked about since last year, but the novelty of CES in 2014 was that companies announced the start of mass production of products with this technology, as is the case of LG and its phone.
