Luis Núñez, EMC Andean Region Sales Director

Luis NuñezVenezuela. EMC announced the appointment of Luis Núñez as the new Sales Manager for Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador. This new responsibility is assumed after being Country Manager of EMC Venezuela for more than eight years.
 

Luis Núñez, who will work from the city of Caracas, becomes EMC the main leader in the Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador region. His main responsibility will be to consolidate the region and lead it in IT solutions, based on the continuous growth of countries such as Colombia; achieving high penetration of fast-growing markets in Ecuador; and maintaining the solidity of the operation in a country like Venezuela.

During his eight years as a leader in Venezuela, his main achievement was to contribute to this subsidiary having a high growth and development for the region. "My arrival in this position represents a very interesting challenge and is an opportunity to contribute my experience in the technology industry and conduct business in the region. EMC has a strong presence throughout Latin America. And certainly these markets are strategic for the growth plan of our operations in the coming years, "says Núñez.

Luis Núñez is an Electronic Engineer from the Simón Bolívar University in Caracas, with a specialization in Finance and Marketing. Previously, he held important positions in companies such as Autodesk and Informix.

Regarding this announcement, Brian Black, Director of EMC North Latin America (NOLA), said that "Luis comes to this position at a very important time for the region, as we are consolidating our growth and leadership. We are confident that he will contribute significantly through his experience developing long-term relationships and that he will ensure that we continue to deliver the best service experience."
