International. As an industry veteran LG Electronics rated its new vice president of Digital Signage, Clark Brown, who will be in charge of partner relations and lead the growing digital signage business in the organization.
Brown brings to LG an experience spanning 30 years in the technology industry, with a key role in the sales and management of NEC Display Solutions, Texas Instruments and IBM. Most recently, Brown served as senior vice president of sales for NEC Display Solutions, where he handled the company's North American sales, for seven years.
Commenting on his appointment, Brown said: "My experience of collaborating with end users and technology partners across organisations has given me the awareness of the challenges facing the industry. LG is well positioned to drive the future of digital signage and lead the evolution of 4K Ultra HD signage panels. I hope I can play a role in making that happen."
Brown is a graduate of Florida State University, where he received degrees in both management and marketing. He has received the Channel Chief Award nine times, a recognition given by CRN magazine to the most influential executives in the industry.
