Mexico. Extreme Networks reported that Carlos Perea will leave his position as Vice President of Sales for Latin America effective May 31, 2015 to start a personal project. The organizational structure of the company is led regionally with Marcelo Maldi as director of Brazil, Sergio Rodríguez Morgado at the head of Mexico/VECCA (Venezuela, Colombia, Central America), and Felipe Bascuñán for the Southern Cone region.
The project that Perea started in 2000 proudly closes with the opening of the new office for Latin America based in Mexico City. The new offices of Extreme Networks Latin America required an investment of approximately 1 million dollars that includes a state-of-the-art laboratory and areas of training and engineering development.
Carlos Perea, leaves the company at its best historical moment since it currently occupies the second position in the high-performance network market in Mexico, the third in Brazil and the fourth in the rest of Latin America.

Perea was responsible for successful implementations such as safety nets during the last World Cup in Brazil; as well as development and innovation for government and educational entities with high growth in Latin America.
