Christie strengthens team to serve the Brazilian market

Brazil. Christie announced the appointment of two key executives in the industry who are joining his Brazilian team to pursue sales growth.  André Nubes Ingnez is the new Sales Channel Manager. And Daniel Monteiro Pereira, barco's former sales executive in Brazil, is the new sales manager of the Christie Commercial Products Sector, with special attention to the Rental and Staging markets and fixed installations.

The new positions are part of a business expansion strategy to take advantage of the company's growth in Brazil and develop local strategies to further enhance the introduction into emerging markets, improving the quality and value of Christie's products and services in the country.

Prior to joining Christie, Andrew Nubes Ingnez served as Corporate Sales Leader of Philips displays, being in charge of the start-up of the Philips brand in Brazil for the Digital Signage line. For six years he worked as manager of the corporate area of Samsung products, in Korea and Brazil.

His experience also includes four years at Sony Brazil, where he served as pre-sales product manager for LCD monitors, projectors and digital signage solutions. André obtained a degree in electronic engineering from the University of São Judas Tadeu and an MBA in Business Administration from the School of Industrial Engineering (FEI) in São Paulo.

"I'm very motivated to be a part of Christie," Andrew said. "I sincerely believe that we will play an important role in the development of the digital signage market, which is beginning a transition to 4K resolution."

For his part, Daniel Monteiro Pereira began his career at On Projeções, one of the leading Brazilian event services companies, where he worked in customer service for 10 years. Prior to joining Christie, Daniel worked for nearly five years as Barco's Latin American sales executive. Daniel is an electronic technician graduated from the San Francisco de Borja Technical School, in Sao Paulo.

Daniel is responsible for increasing sales of Christie commercial group products for the rental and staging markets and fixed installations, including identifying new sales and service orientations in the commercial sector in Christie's expansion. In addition, Daniel will help develop business relationships with customers and resellers, providing them with the most up-to-date information on products and technology in order to ensure long-term collaboration.

Daniel said, "Christie has a selection of fast-growing business solutions and its continuous innovations are helping rental and staging installers and integrators in the fixed installation market, so it can offer its customers significant projection solutions, reducing costs and value-focused services."

Clayton Brito, Christie's manager in Brazil, commented: "The appointment of André and Daniel marks Christie's dedication to his clients and growth in Brazil. The performance of the new positions will play an important role in strengthening the company's leadership, which contributes greatly to the success and motivation of our local team. His experience and lifelong experience in the professional AV industry will be key factors in how Christie continues to drive initiatives to support our clients' business in the country."
