According to a study conducted by the OECD, structural and energy legislative reforms have positioned Mexico within the highest growth projections of the last 5 years during 2016. Thus, lighting and energy efficiency have become important issues for the country, which has taken the necessary measures to ensure simplified access to the construction industry, including housing, commercial buildings and infrastructure, providing new players in the lighting market.
In this sense, there are open forums that seek to offer solutions, present trends, innovations and generate a culture in lighting design oriented to the solution of aspects such as: urban image, energy saving, safety, well-being, facilities, cost of operation, maintenance and visual impact.
Such is the case of ELA Expo Lighting America 2016, an event that on this occasion will bring the Décor Lighting Pavillion, a space that integrates the latest styles in design and more efficient lighting technologies, aimed mainly at architects, designers, maintenance managers and new developments in hotel chains, first-class homes, restaurants and department stores, those who seek to interpret the design languages that make up an urban- architectural project or work and thus, satisfy in a creative and functional way the lighting requirements.
Some of the companies that will present their products and new technologies within this pavilion will be: Artemide; Ten Company / Astro; Studio David Pompa, to name a few.
